Dell Acpi Driver Windows 10

Mar 01, 2017  I can't find a driver for it:ACPIDELLABC6Googling shows mixed results, from keyboard Fn buttons to WLAN and Bluetooth cards. Is this for a windows 10 build? Found it in the Network section of Dell's driver downloads. Thanks Robert267. I also had this problem with an Asus EEE 1001px. It also would not wake from sleep mode, having to do a hard reset to restart it.

I solved the problem:

Search for Recovery

Select- Go back to windows 7

Acpi Smo8810 Dell Driver Windows 10

Got through the menus and wait while windows 7 reinstalls

Now it runs fine again.

I didnt think it was worth upgrading to Windows 10 for the asus eee running on windows 7. In addition to the issues above, it also ran slower in general, there were compatibility issues with old software, and startup took a long time, compared to my windows 8.1 toshiba which was upgraded to windows 10 and compared to win7 on this computer.

Theres also no support or drivers for win 10 for these computers although I might add that I kept all of the drivers and so I reinstalled the suggested chipset driver (intel install) which installed ok but didnt solve any problems. I tried installing all the other drivers I had and they either didnt work even in compatibility mode or reported that a newer driver was already installed.

Therefore, I think the best solution here is to go back to Windows 7 unless you wish to forever be trying to solve problems like this.
